[2/2] Hard to believe I have been doing NMR for ~20 years (since Prof @tdwclaridge took me to his group in 2006 and inspired me to the world of NMR). We will continue to advance NMR research and education especially in its application to study complex biological systems!

[1/2] Very grateful to receive the Sir Paul Callaghan Medal from @ANZMAG. Thanks to ANZMAG and my referees for their support. Thanks also to all past and present members of my group, collaborators and colleagues; none of our science would happen without them.

Our work on the Mycobacterium tuberculosis sulfur-scavenging enzyme Rv3406 is featured as front cover @ChemCommun. It shows how amino acid changes shift substrate specificity to enable bacterial adaptation to environments with differing sulfur nutrients 🌐 https://t.co/D533iU7gqt

Congratulation Dr @evelyn_huang_! Very well deserved :)
Congratulations to Dr Evelyn Huang @evelyn_huang_ (@Leung_Group) who was awarded the 2025 RACI (VIC branch) Thesis of the Year Award. Evelyn’s PhD uncovered how a key metabolic junction in Mycobacterium tuberculosis is regulated, offering new insight into better TB treatments

Some life updates: My journey at @UniMelb @ChemistryUoM has been so valuable and enriching over the last 2 years, but as all good things this too must come to end. I cannot thank enough @Leung_Group, Ivan and all the other group members for making me feel so welcomed. Thank you!
@glenvasku [2/3] Glenda led the Mycobacterium #tuberculosis lipidome mapping project (in collaboration with Dr Anna Coussens), in which she developed a workflow to characterise the complete lipidome of the bacterium. We have just submitted the manuscript to be considered for publication.

@glenvasku [3/3] Glenda also supervised two students (Eugene and Nikki) and contributed greatly to our lab, its culture and the science (in particular helping us to expand into lipidomics research). She will be missed, and we wish her all the best for her exciting new role back in Europe!
