Early this month, @FrancisKuang gave a talk at the @ASBMB 2025 conference at UQ where he shared his latest findings on the functional roles of the different isoforms of the ethylene-forming enzyme in plant stress response. Thanks the Masson Travel Fund for supporting his trip.

Congratulations to Kate for completing her 3rd year research project @ChemistryUoM, in which she investigated the effect of antibiotic resistant adjuvants using MALDI-MS. Thanks Madie for looking after Kate during her time in our group.

BREAKING NEWS The Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences has decided to award the 2025 #NobelPrize in Chemistry to Susumu Kitagawa, Richard Robson and Omar M. Yaghi “for the development of metal–organic frameworks.”

Today we bid farewell to Bill, a visiting undergraduate student from the University of Cambridge. Bill studied the effects of antibiotic adjuvants during his 1.5 months visit & gathered some very useful data. Thanks Madie for looking after and mentoring Bill during his stay🧪🦠🧫
