We have been contacted by several of our community members voicing concerns at the solitary link between our Walker Horse fair in Mountsorrel and ASB raised by @JeevunSandher, MP for L’boro. To use the GRT communities to highlight ASB is blatant discrimination and feeds fear.

Today was our 10th and last cultural awareness training session with the wonderful staff @RainbowsHospice. With over 150 staff trained and a strong relationship formed. Thanks for the warm welcomes, the honest questions and comments and, off course, the cheese and ham toasties.

1/2 Looking for advice/info does anyone know of a DA project/refuge that has managed to SUCCESSFULLY provide appropriate accommodation for GRT women fleeing abuse - either here or in Ireland? I know some have in the past but that may not have worked long term.

This is utterly disgraceful. I wonder if the nation will be as publicly outraged by this in the same way we would if it were any other protected group. Our best wishes go to those families that have had to deal with this.
Disgusting abuse because of your ethnicity. Families making their way to Appleby horse fair had their homes vandalised while sleeping. Racism is alive and kicking!!! 😡😡
