EVERY BILL should be required to be read on the Senate floor before it can move forward. This would be an incentive to quit writing these 1,000-3,000 page bills that are only intended to hide things. It's called transparency.

If you aggressively lunge at another person, you should expect a response. If that person is a public official with an assigned security detail, that response is not going to be very pleasant. If he was in the military, he would be charged with "conduct unbecoming".

Even if DOGE accomplishes slashing 50% of the federal government, Congress will still want to increase spending.
Two things are true:. 1) DOGE is a good thing, and stopping even relatively small amounts of waste is valuable. 2) GOP Congressional members constantly fawning over DOGE while they vote for another $2 trillion deficit is a slap in the face to every American.

I still say the best solution would be to totally abolish the entire entity and return its "legitimate" law enforcement duties to the US Marshal's, where it was prior to the 1908 takeover by progressive-globalists. Problem solved.
