The sight of Bulls fans booing the mention of the late Jerry Krause was disgusting. I hope you are proud of yourselves for making his widow that visibly shaken. He was a huge part of the winning that went on in the 90s. Regardless of your reasoning for that reaction, it was…

Damn. Remember the days when bball was just about goin up and the down the floor with flow? And trying to outplay your opponent? All these theatrics and constantly trying to draw fouls destroys the fun that goes with seeing great basketball.

I just don’t agree with the flagrant 2 against @Money23Green - the use of the term “wind up” to describe his swipe down at the ball/arm is a bit exaggerated. The jersey grab was deserving of a flagrant 1. The face contact was minimal and unintentional. Just my opinion

My take on LBJ injury- I dont care HOW it got out. Say it b4 game 2 or keep it quiet forever. No one wants to see the “soft cast” after the series. not doubting it happened. Not doubting it’s hurt. Only if ur trying to downplay it then downplay it FOREVER. Aka never mention it

Wild doesn’t come close to describing the end of that game. The last play was set up because Derrick White was unguarded as the inbound passer. Meaning he had a free run to the rim on Smart’s shot. And the ball has to bounce exactly that way to give him a chance at a tip.

The most overused and lazy description of the NBA is “make or miss league”. That statement implies coaching and talent don’t matter. It’s a way to deflect accountability. Better coaching/talent leads to improved shot quality and results.

So sorry to hear of the passing of Jerry Sloan. I was fortunate to spend a short time playing for him with @utahjazz early in my career. He made a lasting impression on me as a great basketball mind and a family man of integrity. Praying for comfort for his family. #RIPCOACH

Here we go hoop heads. What a night this is going to be regardless of the outcomes. @sixers playing arguably the most important game of the @JoelEmbiid era. Curious to see @celtics fight and adjustments defensively. And then KD & Book trying to force a winner a take all back in…

My thoughts on the names circulating for Sixers job: 1. Monty Williams- I’m a big fan but do you want someone taking over the Sixers after their last 3 flame outs in the post season who also suffered two embarrassing home losses to end the season the last two years in Phoenix?

@Adam_Mares This pairing with you @Adam_Mares has been one of my favorite collaborations in media. I’m really proud of what we are building. If you want to cut through the BS and get to real talk about the NBA…I mean the detailed analysis, the psychology, the daily ebb and flow of the…

Love these conversations with my guy @jj_redick . A lot more to come as we hit the final lap of the regular season and get into what should be a wild playoff ride.

Legs is back on the Old Man and the Three Things to discuss Suns performance of late, Kyrie’s insane game winner, and the play of Jaylen Brown. Could listen to @LegsESPN talk hoops for days.

Shaq was a different level of speed/power combination when he came into the league.

“Shaq just wouldn’t just go out there and outplay you, dominate you statistically, like whatever. He also could potentially put you on some sort of video clip that could last a lifetime.” — @LegsESPN Full episode with @jj_redick and @Rjeff24 :

@CJC9BOSS Jae, I have no idea why anyone would say @nyknicks are my team lol. The only NBA teams I’ve ever actually cared about in my life were the Bullets in the late 70s and Celtics in the 80s. I just cover the league with no bias.

Okay here we go… time to pick. I’m going with Denver in 6. The Heat’s competitive will gets them 1-2 games. Game 1 will tell us an awful lot about how this goes. Check out the discussion and analysis on @notthefakeSVP right after the game. Enjoy the game

You will rarely see a player do as many different things as Jokic did tonight. He was just too good. And Malone’s challenge to his team was received. They cleaned up their communication mistakes on screens and their defensive effort through the release of Heat 3s was just better…
