We support firefighters not only for the work they do but also for the lives they lead and the roles they fill beyond the call. Because when we fully support our firefighters, we’re also supporting the people they protect, the families they love, and the communities they serve.

Mike's unwavering respect for the fire service and the people behind it remained constant through it all. "Brotherhood, morale, and tradition separate this profession from a job," he says. Join us in honoring Lieutenant Mike Murphy for his 35+ years of dedication and service.

Mike followed in the footsteps of his father, Ed Murphy, who retired from the Newton FD as Chief of Department. "My earliest memories are visiting Dad at the old Engine 4 & 8 house," Mike shared. "[He is] no doubt my inspiration."
