This semester has been bittersweet as @MaryamJPoor left us temporarily for an industry internship as part of the TEPD program. We miss her already but we know she’ll make us proud in her new position 🥹.

Congrats to Xavier, who defended his undergraduate thesis last week! 🥳 Xavier is off on a well deserved vacation and will be back at York to wrap up his studies in the fall. Sam will also be staying in the group to begin her undergraduate thesis next week!.
Welcoming undergraduate researchers Xavier and Samantha to the group this summer! Xavier has been volunteering since September and is starting his thesis on expanding fluoride catalysis in the group and Sam is a new volunteer working on cross-coupling reactions ⚗️🥼🧪
