it’s incredibly disappointing, to put it mildly, that the senior leadership of @LancasterUni haven’t booked @UJS_UK to deliver antisemitism awareness training despite our @LancasterSU taking the training every year.

since November, i’ve been lobbying @LancasterUni with @LancasterJSoc to train staff in antisemitism awareness. we’ve been stonewalled with bureaucracy despite @UJS_UK’s brilliant training being free… help support jewish students and donate to ujs today

This evening marks Yom HaShoah - Holocaust Memorial Day. As we do every year, we will take a moment to stop our lives and remember those who were murdered in the Holocaust. We also remember those who survived the horrors - whose stories deserve to be heard.

Had a productive meeting w/@CatSmithMP earlier. We spoke about advocating for peace rather than stoking division, the hostages, & community cohesion in Lancaster. My community has adopted with Bibas family with the @BoardofDeputies & @UJS_UK’s #SederSeatforaHostage campaign

To mark Holocaust Memorial Day this weekend, our @LancasterUniLib are hosting an exhibition featuring historical objects from The Holocaust, while our @InfoLab21 is being lit up in purple throughout the week
