It is simply appalling for students to refuse to play a Jewish football team. The boycott of Jewish sports teams was once thought to have been confined to the sewers of history. Enough is enough. Antisemitism cannot continue to overshadow the Jewish student experience.
Students from the Arab Society at Leeds University refused to play against the Jewish football team as part of a regularly scheduled fixture.
"To us, this is a blatant act of antisemitism," the Jewish society says.
