Tatiana Maroilley et al characterized the complex rearrangements in multiple #Celegans balancers. I hope we will find a way to make the data available at @wormbase but in the meantime you can see your favourite balancer in the publication.

Another very nice publication by @AngieWildDr from the @ShernazBamji lab about #palmitoylation. This time the group investigated several hundred cell lines using publicly available RNA-seq data and created a user friendly database

Excited to share my final paper from the @EricJanLab is now out in Virology! This was a great collaboration with @nsalcedop and @LSIbioinfo. It gives some insights into repeated proteins in +ssRNA viruses. Enjoy!

It's not the main point of the paper but it's interesting that a single nucleotide variant in the middle of an intron was enough to produce the observed phenotype and allow us to identify the gene of interest 🧐.
