Do any of my QSR or restaurant friends have any hyper localized digital marketing agencies they love?.

I am talking to many people (new and old acquaintances) and life feels hard right now for many of them. I am feeling some of that too. If you are, have some grace for yourself and keep doing the best you can. It will all work out how it is supposed to.

When the DM is 2 sentences and one is "I am looking to expand my network" and the second is "I am looking for referrals" then ends with "lets connect". what platform am I on?.

I am not very strong in economics outside of a basic understanding. I am a great business operator, and understand how different financial levers impact returns on capital, etc. Is this blindspot important to correct? What is an acceptable level of understanding?.

Memories of summers at 9yr pushing a lawnmower around my neighborhood crept in yesterday and today. What a country we live in. What was your first entrepreneurial venture and how old were you?.

how are the SFH investors with 150/door of cashflow doing with the property tax and insurance increases as their escrow payments increase significantly? Fixed rates arent the only factor in mortgage payments. Why doesn't anyone talk about this?.

If you need help with CRM/ERP or Software work send me a DM (zoho partners with other certs to come, proficient in most environments) Additionally, we have a disruptive US-based recruiting model that can save you 50% or more over traditional recruiting.

Most here know of me because of my Franchise roots. I have a couple other businesses I started a few years ago with folks that I knew and trusted as competent partners in their respective fields. We are a small, mighty, bootstrapped team that can help with lots of SMB needs:.

They are being forced to raise wages anyway to compete for talent, harder to control labor margins with more complex operations. They see the writing on the wall, long term will be worse for exempt restos than the ones the bill applies to.

Interesting anecdote and potentially unintended consequence of FAST ACT in CA. I see a huge influx of casual dining franchise locations for sale this month. They were exempt but I see way more of them hitting the market than fast casual or QRS: . My take?.

The theme of this I agree with. Just do what others are doing. Just don't copy the guy who is there every day with a 150K/year job that shows up in one of the nicest cars on the lot.

Once had a top labor law attorney in the state tell me that if they started a business in the state tomorrow they likely wouldn’t be able to be 100% compliant. It is a game of minimizing damages & budgeting for the inevitable.

In the past 6 years trial attorneys have made over 8 billion on PAGA related settlements. The employees have made maybe 1% of that. It doesn’t even help the employees.

If I ever had to cut back on spending he would be the last routine provider to go because I wouldn’t want to miss out on getting them back.

Would be an incredibly hard business to buy. He periodically pops by while his crew is here always lets me know when he is. Always remembers the tiniest detail and knows someone for every other trade. He is irreplaceable.

Best home service provider we use is our yard maintenance. No marketing, no capacity for new clients unless they for very tightly in between current clients. We got lucky. And they are incredible. Owner I think literally runs the business from a notepad and never forgets anything.

they literally take 0 responsibility. You can have cameras tied to your POS that show the order all being handed to the driver and they will say "The driver crossed the customers' location at __ time" Meanwhile the driver goes by sipping on shakes and eating burgers on a.

I looked at my McDelivery refunds vs instore refunds. There is 7x difference between the two. I do a decent amount of delivery sales. In fact, I’ll do more delivery orders (sales wise) than many of my competitors total sales. I am close to making some pretty drastic decisions to.
