“There’s a doomsday view of climate change,” said Bill Gates on Tuesday. “Fortunately for all of us, this view is wrong….People will be able to live and thrive in most places on Earth for the foreseeable future. Emissions projections have gone down, and with the right policies

It took me five years to find the courage to speak out against climate alarmism. I was only able to do so by following in the footsteps of brave climate realists like @curryja, @AlexEpstein, @ShellenbergerMD, Steve Koonin, @BjornLomborg, and countless others who faced real

Today, Bill Gates admitted that pushing climate doomerism was a mistake. @LLBiggers: “That shift to common sense is welcome, but it comes after decades of fearmongering that harmed young people, stalled development, and punished dissenting scientists.”

Good intentions ≠ real impact. @LLBiggers argues it’s time to go deeper than feel-good environmentalism from this week’s Bully Pulpit ⬇️

The modern climate movement runs on “feel-goodism” - not effectiveness. @LLBiggers argues it’s time to move beyond moral posturing and start focusing on results.

Hurricanes have been the poster child for climate change since Katrina. But, here are three quick facts journalists (and many scientists) refuse to tell you: 1️⃣ Hurricanes and major hurricanes (tropical cyclones with maximum sustained wind speeds ≥74 and ≥111 mph,

If you’re an actual environmentalist, this isn’t what “saving the planet” looks like. You can wave your arms about coal strip mining, but if your alternative is to cause even more destruction of the landscape, you don’t deserve a seat at the table. This is a monstrosity. 👇

The protestors are at it again! I wish I could tell them that the fact they even have time to protest is a privilege made possible by fossil fuels. Before that, every woman was a trad wife, not by choice, but by necessity. Women used to spend 10–12 hours a day on manual labor.

Can someone please explain how deindustrialization of the UK and Germany will save the planet? I really struggle to understand why they sacrifice their industries and jobs only to outsource production to China which causes more global emissions. Does it make any sense to you?
