You can check out both of these pieces on my Substack ( https://t.co/3JCpHyE5xK). More now than ever, it’s imperative that we address misinformation and use our expertise to debunk claims. I’d also like to thank @Jessica_Oros_ for editing these pieces on the fly—she’s the best!

As a Floridian, I was frustrated by all the misinformation online following Hurricane Helene and Hurricane Milton. To address this, I wrote a two-part piece debunking these claims and discussing what comes next—both in terms of recovery, the election, and future hurricanes.

The Weinstein lab is excited to have you @vishakha_v96. Welcome to the lab!!
Last day for @vishakha_v96. She was brave enough to join my brand new lab as the 1st student 6 yrs ago and has been a dream student for a PI. She is starting a new adventure as postdoc in the Weinstein lab at @NIH to study zebrafish/cavefish development. Wish her all the best!
