so many people train for an analytically perfect swing. nothing wrong with that, have to have a “good swing”. However, if you train 1 swing against 1 pitch, how many tools in the toolbox do you have? “Build” swings by training shapes. Create a rolodex!

I have no idea who this is that we just reposted, but I just took a look at his data from the @BaseballCzech @Blast_Bsbl Portal and it’s really really nice. Bat Speed ranges around 70-75 (depending on intent) and it’s an 80% On-Plane Efficiency. Really nice. I’ve seen

Here are my thoughts on Tyson Lewis (& also Slade Caldwell). I’m a big fan. They were basically the only two HS hitters I liked in this draft. I’m very high on Tyson. Reds got a good one.

The kids shoot so many in to the bucket (and miss) you end up picking up more than you hit.

The progress he has made going into his Sr year now is in large part due to KNOWING what he's training. PBR Showcases are a great environment to demonstrate that training.
