I reread AoT recently and it was a genuine surprise.
I expected my distaste for it to go away but I was not expecting that I would actually start loving it again. It's celebration of life, creation and humanity is so heartfelt and pure.
Eren Yeager is a top 10 protagonist.

Kara no Kyoukai.
Quite a frustrating watch. Shines far more in concept than in execution. Nasu has riveting ideas but they feel stiff and hollow when put into a half-baked narrative and presented amateurishly.
Probably a 6/10.

Fly was unquestionably the best episode of Breaking Bad up until this point.
THE sharpest directing and densest character writing this show has had to offer yet. The entire episode was a masterclass of allegorical storytelling. That end scene was haunting.

Finished rereading Berserk.
Yeah man it just doesn't hit the same anymore. Feels so terrible to not have anywhere near the same amount of love for it as I once did. It's a shame but shit just happens sometimes. It is what it is.

A tale of wounds— both dealt and incurred. A tale of the wounded and a tale for the wounded.
Beautifully told and pristinely presented through some of the boldest artistic endeavours in the industry. Tatsuya Oishi at his best.

Finished my Vagabond reread.
I can't even begin to explain how much this story means to me. Undeniably one of the greatest fictional works I've had the pleasure of experiencing. If I had to describe it in one word, it would be poetry.
