Our new paper out! ✨ We built a humanized mouse model of JAK2-mutated MPN by embedding patient MSCs & progenitors in a gelatin scaffold to recreate bone marrow. It preserves disease genetics and enables research on immune response & immunotherapies. πŸ”— Link in first comment

In past 2 days, we had our annual #i4MDS meeting in The Hague. Great discussions with colleagues about the role of the immune system in MDS and novel findings. Three years ago, when we founded this group, I never expected this level of progress and collaboration. Truly delighted.

I spent the past three days in Bergen university, Norway, giving a lecture for the Haemato-Oncology group and conducting a research methodology workshop for medical students. I thoroughly enjoyed the scientific discussions and exchanges with the students and colleagues.
