The UAE enabled these atrocities and rapes in Sudan with its ongoing support for the RSF militia. And in a broader sense, both the Biden and Trump administrations have been complicit as well, for they both refused to publicly hold the UAE accountable.

Some things 🇺🇸 government should be saying right now: 1. We have determined RSF is committing genocide in Darfur and they are still doing it. 2. Here is list of consequences for RSF and UAE if they keep doing it. And 3. UAE will be directly held responsible for what happens next.
As fighting intensifies in El Fasher and more civilians seek safety from the violence, the RSF must act now to protect civilians and prevent further suffering. We call on RSF leaders to continue to issue and publicly communicate clear orders to their forces to ensure the safety
