We really dropped the ball with the selfie @TracyWesterman - all that river frontage, the MCG, Birrarung Marr. Great conversation and insight though. Thanks again 🙏🏃♂️.
Great run around the Yarra River in Melbourne today with journo with the Sydney Morning Herald Konrad Marshall-chatting all about running and mental health. We talked Jilya; self soothing; mindfulness; avoidance; and the significant mental health benefits I’ve experienced as a

One of my all time favourite movies. Saw it at Hoyts Chaddie as a kid with my best mate Andrew Wragg. Always imagined myself as Gordie LaChance, played by Will Wheaton, and my pal @ADWragg as Chris Chambers, a young River Phoenix.
STAND BY ME was released 38 years ago this week. Acclaimed as one of the ‘80s great coming-of-age movies and among River Phoenix’s best-remembered roles, the tale of how it was made is a reminder we never had any friends like the ones we had when we were 12…. 1/47

Craft brewers are in crisis and I wanted to find out why, so I took a deep dive for this week’s @GoodWeekendMag cover story. The upshot? Their struggles are complicated but fascinating - largely misunderstood and largely not of their own making 👇🏻

It’s been described as “far more brutal than anyone imagined”. What’s behind the great boutique brewery bust?

"Who would wear that - in public?". Despite a loud and visual US presence in Paris there's one bit of nationalistic dress up missing: the MAGA hat. I talked to 'Muricans on the street, and a Trump expert from Politico, on the many and varied reasons why.

Team USA fans are strutting their stuff but despite the sea of red, white and blue, one item is notably absent.

Before the biggest race of Noemie’s life, sister Jess told her to “take it all the way”. So long in the shadow of her sibling, Noemie got her moment in the sun.

The tiny town of Le Chesnay, west of Paris, is a welcoming and lovely little spot. It's also where the gigantic NBA player they call "The Extraterrestrial" - Victor Wembanyama - grew into himself.

He was here, then there and now he is everywhere. But before the world knew about Victor Wembanyama, Le Chesnay was helping the gentle giant find his feet.
