We are thrilled to share our work on Cullin-independent substrate recognition by the RBR E3 ligase HHARI, led by @KHReiter now out in @Structure_CP. While RBRs share a conserved catalytic module, substrate recruitment mechanisms remain enigmatic.

We posted a manuscript of my postdoc research on bioRxiv yesterday. We characterize the transcription activation domain of RelA and found that it enhances the binding affinity of the p50/RelA heterodimer for DNA, especially for sequences that don't match the κB consensus motif.
