I am very saddened by the passing of Ulrich auf dem Keller. He was a giant in the protease field and a terrific mentor to me and many other scientists. Ulrich was a wonderful guy and an absolute pleasure to be around. I will miss seeing him at the next protease conference.
I am deeply saddened by the recent passing of Professor Ulrich auf dem Keller. Ulrich was a stellar scientist and a fantastic mentor and friend. I will miss him sorely - so will all his colleagues. There will be a memorial for Ulrich on 15 Sept at DTU: https://t.co/p0dPa1j0HA

Various ways a British person responds to being deeply insulted: “Bit harsh” “There’s no need for that” “Unnecessary” “Mate…” “That’s your opinion” “Oh cheers!” “Thanks a bunch” “I beg your pardon” “Steady on” “Well…” “Have you quite finished?” “Fair enough” “That’s uncalled

Our new paper about an understudied AAA-ATPase, ATAD1, is now on BioRxiv! we identified binding partners, including a protease, and reveal ATAD1 cellular role in the turnover of intermediate filaments in muscle. Fantastic work by @AweidaDina! https://t.co/yrdAUur17F

What a great collaboration with the @YMerbl lab and others, out today in Nature Biotechnology. #MSFragger and #Philosopher are at the core of a computational workflow for PTM mining of immunopeptidome data. We will also be releasing more HLA-PTM workflows in #FragPipe 19 soon.
Over half of the peptides in the #immunopeptidome are still unidentified! Check out our new paper in @NatureBiotech where we develop PROMISE to identify modified HLA peptides and illuminate🔦 MS dark matter, revealing new classes of cancer antigens. https://t.co/cYRScSyeJ6🧵1/7

With great respect to all the co-authors involved, I would like to take the liberty of announcing our next manuscript. Single Cell Proteomics @SCP is developing massively. I am glad that we can make a small contribution to it.

Well done @QuentenSchwarz! Over the past few months, I have been involved in two other manuscripts that have taken a while to publish. This one definitely breaks the record - nearly 7 years! https://t.co/JM7ANdCfxV
