Parents, please consider getting you and your kids vaccinated against influenza. We’re getting swamped with kids with flu, some sick enough to require admission to hospital. It’s not a great match this year but it’s your best chance at keeping your kid out of hospital.

They sure can! We can vaccinate infants against whooping cough (pertussis) at 4-6 weeks of life. Until then, they rely on antibodies from their mothers. Which is why we recommend pregnant women get vaccinated.
