There is never a bad time to pop down to one of our amazing schools. I talked with stage 3 students at Campbelltown North Public School who had some great questions about how government works here in NSW. I also chatted with their school leaders who have bright futures ahead.

As of 8pm tonight, the Currowan Fire burning in the Shoalhaven has been set to out. The fire burned for 74 days, burnt out 499,621 hectares and spans from each end of the Shoalhaven. 312 homes were destroyed and 173 damaged. 1,889 homes saved by firefighters. #NSWRFS #nswfires

This guy, NSW Rural Fire Service Commissioner Shane Fitzsimmons, is an incredible leader. As far as I can tell the guy hasn’t slept in 2 months. Morning & night, he’s calmly and compassionately directing resources, providing information and keeping us safe. Thanks Commissioner 🙏🏼
