My new fitness watch is configured to track “stress” and the amusing thing is: it doesn’t distinguish an exhilarating outdoor adventure from an authentic fight-or-flight danger. So I had a great hike today and now my device is sending reminders about the importance of rest

As a noun, “clown” refers to the circus character usually more frightening than funny. Catherine O’Hara knew how to make the word a verb, how to melt the world into astonished laughter. What glorious characters she brought to life — Lola Heatherton will live forever in SCTV

If Bari Weiss gets pushback from entrenched CBS journalists, one interpretation is that her management skills suck and she must be trying to destroy journalistic standards. Another interpretation: she might be doing what’s required to break a long-standing intellectual

Rhonda Patrick just served up the no-BS breakfast blueprint on Chris Williamson's podcast: 4–5 pasture-raised eggs, scrambled—straight fire for brain health and sustained energy. Why this simple combo crushes: - 30–38g complete protein → keeps you full, powers muscle/brain

Scott Adams is one of the most remarkable people I never got a chance to meet in person. His intellectual and moral generosity touched millions. My gratitude for his life, to use a phrase he made famous, is the Dopamine Hit of the Day. RIP Scott.
