When you realize the entire purpose of this is (despite maybe having to emergency start Sunday) is to help mentor Riley Leonard & AR through the rest of the season with maybe the most experienced mind in this system in the world, it makes a ton more sense. They aren’t giving up
Breaking: 44-year-old Philip Rivers is UNRETIRING and signing with the Colts practice squad, per @AdamSchefter He hasn't played since the 2020 COVID season

If you’re a colts fan and don’t love that we’re bringing in Big Phil, you guys don’t like entertainment😭 enjoy the ride, the year was shot the second DJ popped his Achilles. I’m here for the ride 🤙🏼

Call me crazy, I’d rather run out Riley Leonard next season than draft anyone other than Mendoza from this class anyways. So what if we don’t have a 1st🤷🏻♂️ we weren’t getting him anyways

Absolutely heartbreaking way to end his season. There won’t be any Dimes slander my way. He deserves more respect than he’s gotten this season. Hopefully he gets brought back, and is able to return to any similar form

Watching live I honestly had no idea he was hurt. I thought he was throwing his hands up to say “damn I dropped that???” Honestly makes it scarier. Crazy freak injury
CeeDee Lamb suffered an ugly brain injury on this play. Note Tua-like fingers, an unsettling version of the fencing response which reveals injury to brainstem nuclei. Sad fact: brainstem damage can increase the risk of mental health & psychiatric disorders https://t.co/7wsgH0Sfxw

He managed to mention how the chiefs could still be alive and that they’d have to win out to make the playoffs last night. The chiefs played Thursday and the teams were Broncos and Commanders.
Tony Romo genuinely needs to be relieved of his duty as an announcer. It’s not a bit anymore. He’s not fun to listen too

I can’t believe there’s real colts fans who’ve put up with the last 6 years, and think DJ isn’t the best thing we’ve had since Luck. He lights it up, plays really well, just has some consistency problems. But his lows this year are league average, and his highs are best in

On a positive note, against a defense that good, we looked good. We took shots deep, we got JT going even in the passing game, DJ looked good all things considered. We HAVE to stop making the (massive) small mistakes. We’re losing in the margins, and that’s by far the hardest

I don’t think we played well, but it’s so disheartening that we keep losing games we definitely deserve to win. Now the division is legitimately in question. I can’t see a world where Ballard and Steichen return if we melt down. And currently, we’re spiraling.

Seems like a weekly thing in LOS. Everyone we’re at home the officiating gets so horrible against us.

Dont call the obvious delay of game, then immediately throw a nonexistent PI on a dude who slipped. I never like to be the “blame the refs” guy but that’s atrocious. Gave Houston a FREE 7.

Anyone with ball knowledge knows even beyond these clips that completing a screen is actually fairly simple. It’s WHERE you place the ball that says how good you are. Put it slightly out in front so he can go get it and get some extra. These clips just show how bad Gabriel is

Simply put, we put the ball in Jones’s hands, and he didn’t make the plays to win. However, I don’t take this as an end all thing. He’s been better every week, and will continue to do so. He played lights out for 2 1/2 quarters. He will figure it out when we need him to.
Here are the Colts' three third-down plays in yesterday's fourth quarter against the Chiefs. If they convert even ONE of these, their odds of winning increase sharply. They went 0-3. The recurring theme on each one: The Chiefs blitzed every time.

I really hope we realize that all of our loss’s have come to tough opponents on the road. @ LAR, PITT, KC. And we’re competing, and more so wining for majority of them. We’re learning how to win at that top level. We’ll be okay.
