NEW: To truly understand why people in the Colts organization embrace Carlie Irsay-Gordonโs hands on approach to ownership, you must first understand HER. This behind-the-scenes look at her authenticity helps explains it all. https://t.co/tnWFudbaGd

Irsay-Gordon is forging a unique identity as the Colts' owner, from the sidelines to buying fans a round of drinks in a Berlin bar.

I think a lot of Shane as an offensive coach. But I do wonder about his play selection sometimes and why he doesn't sometimes have better instincts there.

They had 2 completions in those 8 attempts. One was to Taylor for 7 yards -- their longest gain in the fourth quarter. Total time elapsed in the fourth quarter: Three minutes, 14 seconds. So, they ran no clock, and their best offensive player touched it twice. And they LOST.

Look, Shane Steichen knows more football in his pinkie finger than I ever will. That being said... I cannot pretend this is ok: The Colts had three possessions in the 4th quarter, all while leading. Each was a 3-and-out. Of those nine plays, they ran it ONCE. (more)

Unless Iโm mistaken, the Colts did not produce a first down in the fourth quarter or overtime. The Colts had TEN first downs. TEN!!!!

The defense was on the field the entire second half because the offense played like garbage. Those guys mostly covered well IMO.
@HolderStephen Im SOOOO glad we spent a shit load of money on CBs and fricking Ward letting the WRs run over him like a practice player. Jesus!

Trying to square the Colts allowing the Chiefs to drive 90 plus yards with them making an impressive defensive stand inside the 5 yard line. ๐คฏ

Shane Steichen being this timid tells you something about the performance of the Colts' offense in this half.

The self-inflicted miscues have really hurt the Colts today. The penalties on the opening possession and now a third-down miscommunication between Daniel Jones and Josh Downs. Offense was rolling on both those drives but they were cut short.

Patrick Mahomes had just one pass attempt in the first half of 15 air yards or more (it was incomplete). Chiefs' passing game is almost exclusively quick and short.
Back to back plays with really solid coverage for the Colts force the FG from Kansas City. Good defensive back play rarely shows up in the boxscore, but the Colts are covering really well.

I see a little something with Daniel Jones' gait. Doesn't look like himself. Remember, he was on the injury report this week. FWIW

Total lack of concentration from the Colts on that opening drive. Two of the three penalties were just flat-out lackadaisical.

Aaron Rodgers arrived at Solider Field about 20 minutes ago, walked one lap around the field, flipped off a couple of the cameras that were filming and went back inside. Used his right hand to flip the bird, so unclear if he could do it with his left. Status for todayโs game

When your team is on the bubble, you find yourself in a hotel bar watching Kansas State-Utah on the edge of your seat rooting for *checks notes* the Wildcats. Life comes at you fast!

Colts CB Charvarius Ward speaks candidly about his pre-game collision with TE Drew Ogletree that resulted in a concussion with extremely severe symptoms โ including vomiting and dizziness.

Couple other injury notes: Charvarius Ward is cleared from concussion protocol and will be activated... DeForest Buckner (neck) is rehabbing in the building and Steichen is "very" optimistic he'll be back from I.R. this year.
