This is amazing for HIV care and prevention. Too bad Alberta elected fundamentalists who are against public health and vaccines. #abpoli.
The FDA has approved a drug that provides a "near perfect" shield against HIV transmission. It is administered twice a year. We have this drug in Canada as well. We can end the HIV epidemic. The question will be if we want to or not.

Considering some hospitals are seeing at least one presumptive/waiting to be confirmed case per shift per day, I’d say the number is much higher and many are just not getting testing. Winning in AB. #abpoli #ableg.
In just one week (Week 23), Canada reported 202 new measles cases, & 114 were in Alberta!. That’s more than all other provinces & territories combined. Yes, you read that right, Alberta has more cases than the rest of the country. Please make sure your kids are vaccinated.
