Pharma-funded psychiatrists offer a frail & delayed response to the serotonin review that further exposed the chemical imbalance theory as false. Their conflict of interest list is extraordinary - holding shares, stocks and getting multiple payments. https://t.co/T7OgcO4aUx

Some psychiatrists said that no one ever believed the serotonin theory. Yet the public does, and are surprised to learn that it is a myth.

"People are staying on antidepressants longer, and we don't really have long-term studies that support that." This is certainly a concern - when we know withdrawal effects are worse for longer term users. https://t.co/zqLnfKRGNO

Prof Moncrieff said: โ€˜The bottom line is that the authors didnโ€™t want us to do the review because they didnโ€™t want to let the cat out of the bag that there is no evidence of a biological basis to depression.โ€™

We utilized a clip chart with ADULTS during our training this morning. Turns out that adults absolutely hate this public display of behavior. Resulted in anxiety, disengagement, fear, resentment and embarrassment. If adults donโ€™t like these tools, how do you think kids feel?

What happens if you blow air between 2 pieces of paper? Does the gap get wider or narrower? To my surprise, it gets narrower. Take this & apply it to an #MND patient with a floppy airway.. airway collapse. What happens if you blow slower/more gently? Remains open @jnthnplmr

#CSP4FairPay Not worried that some of the placard slogans are physio-niche, because the NHS is for everyone, and our strike is for the future of the NHS.

I work as a physio in an acute medicine of the elderly ward. My patients who require rehab to return home at a good level of function are being seen at a maximum twice of per week due to staffing. They aren't even given a chance to improve. They deserve better.@RishiSunak
