Using concept circles to describe graphs of a polynomial function. Great way to support the understanding of math vocabulary. You (or students) can also provide the descriptions and invite students to create the graph! What other descriptions might they add to this one?

Grade 3 classrooms were cold yesterday so we all moved to the library to work on literacy &math centres. My group and I were learning how to represent and add decimal tenths using ten frames (pretending they were whole chocolate bars ). @MemorialHWDSB

This progression video from @gfletchy explains multiplication from 2nd to 5th grades and applies to middle and high school teachers too (think: distributive property, polynomial multiplication, etc.). https://t.co/NUtLiZPaTV

For Indigenous Education Month, @TDSB staff from local Math, Science, and Technology (MST) programs experienced how learning about Cherokee numerals can help to enrich Grade 9 destreamed math classes while also addressing curricular expectations. Much gratitude to @notknownotice

There are many many overlaps of behaviours between sensory processing issues, ADHD, and anxiety. This is because they are all part of regulation.
