i would gladly vote for draghi as a president of a united europe - to me as a german it doesn’t matter that he’s italian and i much prefer him to von der leyen. i believe many europeans see it similarly and would put the idea of a united europe above national interests.

Trump has it backwards. The U.S. doesn’t subsidize the world; the world subsidizes the U.S. The dollar’s reserve-currency status allows us to live beyond our means. Soaring debt, tariffs, and military threats jeopardize that status. When it’s lost, economic collapse will follow.

🇩🇪 Deutschland schaffte nach zwei Rezessionsjahren ein Mini-Wachstum von 0,2% in 2025. Ich hasse es zu sagen, aber leider getragen von Konsum und Staatsausgaben, belastet durch Investitionsrückgang und Außenhandel. Das ist kein Aufschwung, das ist Stagnation mit Make-up.
