One of the most damning but underreported stories about American policing is how misconduct & violence is routinely ignored &/or rewarded. Police just don’t get fired. They keep their jobs, they get promoted, or worst case get transferred to other police departments.

Well we did elect a venture capital governor four years ago. VC loves Big Tech, Big Defense, and buying up housing so no one else can afford it. Why not repay some favors on your way out the door, GY.

New: A judge in Washington has ruled images from Flock surveillance cameras are public records and that anyone can request them. Highlights the pervasiveness of this tech and just how much surveillance is being done. Very notable ruling https://t.co/Bj17BruV9x

Marlin has yet to be released from Virginia DOC💔 His last #VaJUVENILEparole denial was this year, making it the fourth denial. He was 15 then. Today: 45 & mature, a mentor, no new charges, no recent infractions…”a model inmate” something is wrong 🗣

The DC grand jury refusing to indict on a felony and the petit jury finding him not guilty is a great example of why people in power have tried so hard for so many decades to prevent cases from getting to juries. It's one of the most important, basic forms of democracy.
