Absolutely not. In many religions, suicide is forgiven. I'm sure you know that though. Special place in hell for people who drag a dead man and make a terrible situation worse for the loved ones of this man & other suicide victims/families. You're absolutely evil.
If you’re religious, then you believe there’s a special place in hell or purgatory for people like Anthony Bourdain who take their own lives.

People shouldn't be left in such agony that they feel this is the only way they can get peace. People who commit suicide are desperate and see no other way out. I will live and die (whenever that is) without any input from you. Thanks

At our most basic level, our lives are the only things we truly own. No one has the right to make that choice for someone else. No one owes you an explanation if they make that choice, which is fully theirs to make.
A couple close friends have taken their lives. That’s why I’m opinionated on this. The only time suicide should be an option is when you’re on life support or have an incredibly painful illness where being alive is literally agony.

It's very reasonable to inquire as to whether the anti-opioid hysteria whipped up by @CDCgov is causally related to the increase in suicides. There are certainly plenty of anecdotal reports.

The only thing that should be done with prescribing is to make access to reliably manufactured opioids MUCH EASIER. Florida has implemented the approach being recommended for over five years. MORE addicts die. Patients are suffering (more suicides). Stop the anti-opioid cultism.
