Building an agnositc system that integrates and scales to many data providers is one hell of a task. Most of the work has been on the backend, powered by @sailsjs of course...currently building the data ingestion engine.

No idea why but @cursor_ai IDE lags really bad on my Linux machine, when I switch modes (Agent, Editor) it just freezes and I have to open it multiple times. I have about 24gb ram and it's crazy that this is happening.

Every engineer should be able to implement their own authentication. The fact that this is even a conversation is scary. What do you mean you can’t implement your own auth and must use an external or third-party service because some tech influencer told you it’s best practice?

Week 8 of building Kuda's core banking system. Visible progress: Zero endpoints. Zero APIs. Zero features. CEO's patience: Running thin. Most teams would panic. Ship something. Show progress. Kuda's engineers held the line: "After this foundation phase, it will be boom boom

It always gladdens my heart to see folks using the free open-source gift that @mikermcneil has given us in Sails—along with my little addition, The Boring JavaScript Stack—to build actual products, not just demo apps. Bravo, @Julius_Java00!
@Dominus_Kelvin Really can't wait to show you what I've been building with sails, a real product man.

Every man eventually discovers that competence is the only real stabilizer of self-esteem; no amount of praise, affirmation, or philosophical comfort can replace the confidence that comes from knowing you can produce results even when conditions are hostile.

With this whole AI agents and credit consumption situation, AI companies would soon implement a form of cashback for credit consumption. Might call it creditback, where for every threshold token spent you either get a discount on your next subscription or you get extra credits

Devs need to get outside of the tech bubble and go solve real problems for non-tech people. We are an overserved market. Go ask your brother-in-law how his software is at his non-tech job and watch the wheels start turning.

Researchers have found two new vulnerabilities in React Server Components while attempting to exploit the patches last week. These are new issues, separate from the critical CVE last week. The patch for React2Shell remains effective for the Remote Code Execution exploit.
