I'm running the London Marathon for @TheStrokeAssoc in 2026! This year, around 7,000 people in Wales will wake up to the devastation of stroke. I'm aiming to raise more than £2,500 in sponsorship, so any amount would be much appreciated. Link in bio. Diolch!

Thrombectomy not only saves lives – it restores quality of life. But too many stroke patients miss out on this game-changing treatment, due to service delivery constraints. Thank you @FoysolChoudhury for championing round-the-clock treatment to #MakeStrokeAPriority in Scotland.

📢 When a government fails to plan and prioritise care, it’s the most vulnerable who suffer. Despite a clear commitment to deliver round-the-clock treatment, hundreds of patients are still being denied access to thrombectomy, one of the most effective and time-critical stroke

Cardiovascular disease (CVD) is responsible for 25% of UK premature deaths. Up to 80% of these deaths are preventable. It’s estimated that the burden of CVD costs £29 billion each year. But CVD prevention is not currently being prioritised by government at the scale needed.
