The Wichita Police Department responded to the area of 21st Street and Tyler after two armed suspects fled on foot from a vehicle. Both suspects have since been taken into custody. There is no ongoing threat to the community.

I'm told the Wichita State-Drake meeting on Oct. 11 at Koch Arena is not an exhibition game, but will rather follow a scrimmage format with live play, in-game scenarios and situational drills. Basically the "secret" scrimmage is now public. First Drake visit to CKA since 2017.
