@YorkshireWater
- always interesting to see how different organisations are dealing with their effluent
Cast your mind back 18 months - inflation 11.1%, UK economy predicted to shrink by 1.1%. Today, inflation now 3.2%, economy actually grew by 0.1% in 2023 and already 0.6% in 2024, real wages (after inflation) grown faster than prices for 9 consecutive months. Been a tough time
Very sorry to hear this -
@conormurphysf

“Conor Murphy is standing down as Minister tonight on medical grounds.
“My colleagues and I all wish Conor a full and speedy recovery.
“I am nominating Deirdre Hargey to step in as Economy Minister on an interim basis pending Conor’s return."
Great to visit Mallard Grange, Ripon, to learn more about regenerative agriculture.
My thanks to James for taking to time to show me around and outline why putting environmental sustainability at the heart of his farm is so important.

Really enjoyed visiting Glasshouses Community Primary School today to meet with pupils and speak to them about being an MP
It was also great to see so many of them fighting for a road crossing outside the school, with safety a real concern at the moment
Really sorry to hear of the death of Frank Field. He was a unique and outstanding public servant working cross party to deliver for those most in need of a strong and relentless voice & advocate.
The first duty of any government is to protect its citizens.
I fully support
@RishiSunak
's announcement today to raise defence spending to 2.5% of GDP by 2030. This significant increase will boost our security at home and strength abroad.

I really enjoyed visiting
@glusburnarts
last week for an update on what they've been doing and to find out more about their Community Ownership Fund application.
It's a fantastic community initiative with some brilliant staff and volunteers!
An incredible achievement from those involved & the vast majority of NI citizens who voted for it. From the current polarisation of politics & society, the Good Friday Agreement process, agreement & democratic underpinning is a lesson to urgently & continually return to
Good news

Brilliant news that 5 local schools have been awarded funding to improve their buildings and grounds.
