When someone says, “You’re making me uncomfortable,” your response can be: “Yes. Sit with that. That’s what it feels like when the truth challenges power and entitlement.”

If people feel uncomfortable when you speak truthfully about appropriation, harm, or entitlement, then GOOD. Their discomfort is the crack in the surface. If they care more about being called out than about the harm they’re causing, then they've shown you who they really are.

Our problem is that our leaders are more concerned with doing what's "legal" (which they themselves define), than doing what's RIGHT.

Not everything is supposed to be run like a business. Schools, libraries, museums, parks, fire & police are public services that greatly contribute to quality of life. They shouldn't be assessed and closed based on their "profitability."

Actively hating other people just for being different must be so exhausting.
