"Arbeit macht frei" was a false, cynical illusion the SS gave to prisoners of #Auschwitz. Those words became one of the icons of human hatred. It's painful to see this symbol instrumentalized & used again to spread hate. It's a symptom of moral & intellectual degeneration.

This was one of the signs at the “Re-open Illinois” event today. She assured those that she was not a Nazi, and stated, “I have Jewish friends.” Thank you for representing yourself and your “movement” for what it is.

Now is not the time to apportion blame or beat up the Government or its advisers but now is always the time to ask questions and expect answers. I am certain that if we had our time over again the UK would behave differently but to learn the lesson we have paid a heavy price.

I believe the Government when they say they are "guided by the science" - the question is, which science has been winning out at different points in the process? Behavioural science? Public Health Science? Economic Science?

At last! There's somewhere to report scam emails - just forward em to report@phishing.gov.uk. It goes to the National Cyber Security Centre (part of GCHQ) it'll then be analysed and they can take down the sites doing it. Pls share. Lets all take these scammers down together.

Hey @Walgreens thx for messing up my prescription online order for overnight delivery, i followed your instructions, now told i have to wait days, been on the phone on hold over 1 hr, after asking for a supervisor, still on hold trying to resolve, not very helpful

CONFIRMED: If u left a job after 28 Feb, that old employer can rehire you to furlough u. So if needed ask. We knew this worked for those made redundant, but Treasury's just confirmed to us, this is allowed for those who left voluntarily (eg for a new job). Tell those affected
