Its almost as if the movie is saying the media doesn't care about what happens to kids in schools. Even if it were to happen many times a year in a specific country.
I love how horror movies have to take place in an alternate universe where media doesn't exist. Like if 17 children magically vanished from a small town that wouldn't have the *town* in an uproar, Fox News would be doing 24/7 coverage, the streets would be choked with podcasters.

When I was a Hill reporter, Senators would regularly defend things to me like shipping bomb parts to Saudi Arabia so it could mercilessly bomb Yemeni peasants. But not once did they say “the f-slur.” This is what the liberal advocacy community cares about I guess.
Platner was calling people the f-slur in 2018. A Senate term is six years. If he changed that much in the last seven years, how much will he change in the next seven?
