Quite poignant to see doctors here seem unaware that Kenya, Uganda & SA actually manufacture generic ARVs. Its the Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients which constitute ~73% of the finished drug that is prohibitively costly & make Global Fund opt for cheaper ARVs from India & China
HIV/AIDs was a major problem in the 90s. ARVs were out of reach due to cost as result of IP with Pfizer. Eventually generics were produced by Indian Cipla⚕️ making it affordable for the people in shit hole countries. 30 years later why isn’t Africa manufacturing ARVs or vaccines?

SURVIVAL was a 1979 release, so I assume the year you've indicated there is a typo. I'm sure The Wailers were still together in 1970 and not even Catch A Fire had been released.
