Man, it gets worse. 670 deaths in 5 months in Kiambu hospitals. How is this not a national crisis?
136 newborns have died in Kiambu County hospitals since the start of the doctors’ strike now on its 127th day. The deaths have been recorded at Kiambu and Thika Level 5 hospitals - DN How’s this not a national crisis? Is the value of a human life in Kenya that low?

Yeaaah they are so lively! one asked me to read him a bible story, I did.. I didn’t find him the next day💔💔🥹 I’ve never forgotten that lil boy, may his soul rest in peace man!🕊️
This was my most traumatic rotation when I did my residency 😭 when I left I got a huge cake for the ward staff and kids. These kids with terminal cancer had smiles during the toughest times and gave me so much perspective on how to approach downfalls in life.

Had a great mentor and mentee session this evening/night. We are definitely doing things differently as millennials and some of y’all need to acknowledge that! We have our flaws but millennials are breaking generational curses because a majority of us have decided to work on us!

Pediatric oncology ward is soo depressing💔 so we were having a family conference of a baby with a terminal illness, to inform them how all options had failed and the disease progression was irreversible, we were headed to hospice care(End-of-life care), the mom starts sobbing
