There is a kind of โmagicโ that happens when good coaching takes place.Insights and clear next step actions can seem to emerge from nowhere. Usually itโs the end result of a high trust relationship and a skilfully facilitated conversation.
Watching @jimknight99 be coached by @ChristianvN - with so many skillfully-crafted, open ended questions - is an inspiring and almost magical experience. Itโs clear that Jimโs experience was cathartic, and that the opportunity to reflect forward was grounding & helpful. #TLC2023

Much informal -'on-the-run' coaching and mentoring can happen here. We have lost a lot of opportunities for that these last couple of years #educoach #aussieEd
I think the empty staffroom is an issue in many workplaces now. It is hard to quantify just how much value informal personal connections add to individual (and organisational) success and wellbeing.

Ah yes...experienced some of this in-person connection with 'not-seen-for-a-long-time', good friends recently. Zoom, for all its benefits, can never replace this kind of getting together.
Took a day yesterday to drive to the northeast and catch up with good friends. Just being with people you know really well and whoโve been constant anchors in your life for decades is an extraordinary act of self care. Cannot recommend it highly enough.
