Doesn’t make sense to me when MLB could easily have Las Vegas AND Oakland. Plus catch all that LV expansion fee cash for their owners. Waiving relocation and keeping the A’s on revenue sharing doesn’t do anything for the other owners.

@CaseyPrattABC7 Yeah the move to Vegas (or get permission) then sell scenario is truly maddening. Just ripping a team away for ultimately no reason for a similar cash out he can get for getting an Oakland deal and entitlement done

Still sitting here thinking about how A’s fans actually got ‘SELL THE TEAM’ chants off at the freaking MLB All-Star Game. This fan base continues to blow my mind time and time again.

To all .@Athletics fans , the decision to move to Las Vegas was a difficult one and my team which includes @Stanford grad @DaveKaval lobbied all parties involved with rigor and passion. We just felt it was time to end our engagement with @MayorShengThao and the city of Oakland.
