Now on board ready for the #AirFrance flight from Paris to Ottawa. #CDG airport is impressive, the #RossyBus from Opera a convenient service

Today I visited four Commonwealth War Graves Commission cemeteries in France and Belgium. In every one there was work going on to maintain them in such excellent condition. Impressive. #CWGC

Even worse for OPL access via OCtranspo for needy areas, notably River Ward.
@ladybugspicnic Oh interesting... I guess we are failing pretty hard on that metric.

It was good to see a room full of community library enthusiasts at the meeting, and OPL staff open to bringing improved library services and programs to underserved River Ward this fall.
This evening I hosted a session with River Ward's community association leaders & representatives from the Ottawa Public Library to discuss opportunities to expand programming and services in the ward. We covered a lot of ground & remain optimistic about options for this autumn.

Privileged to attend @opl_bpo Board workshop. Very well organized, pity it was hardly publicized, more of us could have appreciated the challenges of improving services.

Will McKenney commit to filling library service gaps for urban areas more distant from an OPL branch than 20 minutes by OCTranspo, especially those areas of greatest social need?
