I have figured out one thing: rural towns have lost economy of scale as their population has decreased. that means, all things being equal, their stuff will cost more because local stores cannot get the bulk discounts they once did.

Here is the thing. I don't support the SAVE ACT. It is completely unnecessary and burdensome.... but... If it passes it will be really, really bad for Republicans. Democrats are more likely to have a passport and far more motivated to go through the steps to reregister.
