I’m so damn proud of JCU SID. The card promotion, halftime shows, 4-camera broadcasts. 2nd in D3 MBB attendance. Consistent, compelling content all season (and we had 7 student photogs/videographers for NCAAs).

As the game admin, I saw their actions up close, and I can absolutely say that Michelle and Breanna’s quick actions saved the referee’s life. Their actions were heroic and I’m still amazed at how incredible they are.

As a D3 SID I’ll lend my personal opinion here.
A paywall is bad business in D3. The payout isn’t worth angry alumni & parents, and 60-70% less views for athletes and student broadcasters.
$30 paywall goes against D3 ideals and is short sighted in this ever changing landscape
