It was a pleasure to present @ IWAF yesterday and be face to face with many of our leading fire scientists, researchers & practitioners. To be effective we must unify efforts on action and implementation of climate adoption principles and policies into our operating models.

Our national Large Air Tanker landed today, carrying 15,000L of retardant, it's a real boost to our national aerial firefighting capability. This is a result of the Government investing $30mil each year to ensure availability of efficient aerial firefighting resources. @AFACnews

Firefighters continue to make the most of benign conditions to contain 75 bush fires, of which 25 are still to be contained. Rain continues to fall across a number of firegrounds, however the Far South Coast and along the border are still yet to receive any moisture. #nswrfs
