I learned last night that my niece who is trying her best to survive stage four cancer is actually not receiving full support to control her pain because of the present move to control

This results in those like

I am very sorry your Uncle was denied palliative care, Morticia. What happened to him after that was not his fault. I appreciate his service to the USA and offer my condolences. I wish he had sacrificed for a country which would have valued his service enough to keep him alive.
The doctor in the second ER was very unusual. When I told him that all of the complications I was experiencing and which kept popping were caused by my under treated, severe pain.
Rather than to run after each complication as it arose why not get the severe pain under control
I have a friend who is terminal. He recently decided to discontinue all medications because of too much pain.
At that stage of life I don’t think the patient should have to worry about pain.
My friend is not receiving enough

We heard from our friend today. He decided to stop taking all medications because the doctor was afraid to give him any medicine for the severe pain, and he said life in that much pain was just not worth it.

My wife has a friend who became less and less active for the past two months due to pain. She died today. I wonder how many doctors would admit that involuntary tapering resulting in becoming bedridden due to pain results in deadly complications?

My procedures at the hospital today qualify as the second most painful ever.
As usual I woke up in excruciating pain. Unable to control my movements or vocalizations I expressed myself quite loudly.
The nurse in exasperation told me she already gave me the pain meds the doctor
Cutting chronic, severe pain patients off of their

It is wrong to think that the pain problem is solved because some people can get relief in hospice.
What is very wrong about that presumption is that no one should have to be dying to get relief from chronic, severe pain which happens to be a deadly killer in itself.

There is a level of pain that if someone only tries to learn about pain academically or theoretically they will never comprehend what this pain is.
I experienced it for the first time tonight, and it definitely gives insight into why pain patients are compelled to commit
I am so angry right now, but mainly at myself. My Brother spent years in pain, and I did nothing to help but offer suggestions. He became terminal, and they gave him relief for one day. There is something very wrong with that. No one should be forced to live wasted lives in pain.
@Craden924
I have heard about this but honestly I don’t see what threat your Dad could be. Those who wish to pay their respects could be allowed to come in one’s or two’s . Also the service could be shared live by video streaming. Sorry about your Dad.
A pain clinic doctor told me that no one my age should be allowed to take
#OpioidRxs
. It may surprise him to know that a day of normal
#QOL
without constant, intractable pain is just as precious to this 70 year old as a day of normal
#QOL
is to him at 35.
It truly eludes me why ANY Doctor would essentially tell his pain patients that it is better for them to be dead from complications of uncontrolled, severe pain than to risk a much less than 5% chance of being addicted to
#OpioidRxs
.
This is a good day. My doctor gave me my RX for pain meds without any hassle, and after being given the monthly runaround by my regular pharmacy (

I told them up front my problem
I just saw Dr Drew try to pass off as a typical pain patient one who was given an RX for pain who rapidly escalated in 2 weeks to fentanyl, heroin, & dead. Really??? People believe this? Ten years after starting

Any “hospital” which refuses to adequately control chronic, severe or intractable pain may as well hang a sign at the entrance stating that: ‘We kill pain patients here.’

My younger Brother was tapered two years ago. He is in the hospital right now with a heart attack. I am feeling very uncharitable toward tapering doctors right now.
Someone called me an addict looking for a fix today.
I did not let it get to me. Someone with so little sense or compassion is more worthy of sympathy than anger.
If he is very lucky he will never suffer injury or severe pain, but I am not really sure in his case that I would
I am ashamed to admit this, but I need to find a workaround for this:

He gave me a Charter Arms 38 revolver
The challenge is over. I passed the test. The only injury I received was accidentally done to myself. I sliced my finger on broken plastic, and received a lump on my head from a car door.

When I see people telling doctors and pain patients how to force taper

My Sister is no longer responsive. If her pain had been controlled she would not have deteriorated to the point that a fall from such a low height could have caused such injuries.
If I could trade places with her I think I would have a better chance than her Dr has given her
I just read a comment which said the purpose of state medical boards was to ensure patients are protected. That being so how does it protect a patient to allow the patient to be left in agony from untreated or under treated, severe pain? Consequences of such neglect can be fatal.

My wife told me about a friend who a month ago stopped eating because she was tired of being in pain all the time. She was 82. It took four weeks to die. My question is: why in a country which claims to value human life is an older lady like her permitted to suffer endlessly..
People mean well when they learn about my pain problems for the first time and they say, ‘Why don’t you find someone who can fix your pain problem?’.
I take it in the good intention it was offered and say, ‘I have not given up looking for someone to do that, but it isn’t easy’.
Where do Congressmen and Senators go to have their acute or chronic, severe pain treated?
Do they go to a Doctor or do they make an appointment with a

Dr Kline is being investigated for Quality of Care? He saves thousands of pain patients from an agonizing existence of being bedridden or suffering an early death due to under treated, severe pain. On the other hand there are Doctors (like AK) who plan to do deadly harm to CPP.
Dr Ibsen was making an excellent and true point on Facebook: the reason pain patients were living much longer, even full lives, was because of the excellent way

My Brother’s body’s response to untreated, severe pain was a rapid physical deterioration. It progressed to the predictable end with no doctor intervening to reverse it.
Are we ok with living in a country where Drs can be so terrorized by law enforcement that patients die?
I am glad I did not take gabapentin as prescribed for pain. As soon as I noticed that it did not relieve any pain I stopped taking it. Now it seems there will be lawsuits relating to teeth, memory, and vision problems.
