My sense is that the issues we're seeing around supporting ECTs are connected to the DfE trying to centralise control of how people get trained, to try to standardise everything to their way of thinking, rather than having trust in teachers and mentors as professionals.

Politicians like Farage need to be arrested and prosecuted. And ‘journalists’ that pumped out racial hatred propaganda. Not just these nasty, useful fools that responded to Farage and the media.

whenever i see older women asked what they would have done differently as a young adult, the answers are overwhelmingly something along the lines of: "i would have set more boundaries and not constantly put myself last" and the answers from older men to young men is...different.

So I think that in 2024, we can and should be able to do better in sports commentary. We shouldn't be broadcasting what are essentially racist tropes into the homes of millions of people every day. You don't have the excuse of unconscious bias.

The whole ecosystem of a child’s life matters. Schools are just one part of that picture. That’s why the govt’s ambition to create a countrywide network of youth hubs to support young people, along with the youth specialists to run them, makes my heart sing. Now let’s deliver it!
