Kudos to Florida coaches for their work to get increased stipends. They're asking for Head Football Coaches to get $22,500. $15/hour min wage x 1,500 hours. Coordinators = $15,000 $15/hour x 1,000 hours Districts in CA would just shudder athletics if they had to do that.

Sure I’m bitter, it negatively impacts my family (and because of how the contracts are structured it also means I won’t receive my full pay), but those of us in the biz know that it’s a part of the world we live in. Nothing but love for the boys I coached and coached with.

Another day, another >4 years experience Coach trying to be a coordinator too fast… Take it from someone who didn’t wait, don’t jump at jobs just for a title! Find a great HC and work your butt off for him! Validate yourself where your feet are, not on Twitter!
