The autism community has lost a journalist, advocate, & friend who educated & enlightened many about the history of autism & the neurodiversity movement, incl. re: how it includes & serves the needs of ppl w/ high support needs. He had unfinished business & so much love & fight.

Loved my time at the annual APA conference and connecting with Division 33 members, including old labmates! I’m also grateful to have been selected for the student research award by Div 33 and for the generous award sponsorship of @CincyChildrens. Can't wait for Denver!

In our clinic-based sample, we also found that those assigned female were diagnosed later than those assigned male. In the clinic- but not the research sample, age at autism diagnosis mediated the relationship between sex and anxious/depressive symptoms. 🧵2/2

Just received official word that I officially have my M.Ed.🥳 The literal *only* way I want to celebrate is with a mini chocolate dome cake from Wegman's, but they've been out for months.... @Wegmans pls I'll bring in my diploma if we can make this happen!!
