As a reminder, the unelected CLC sets the corporate law for Delaware that governs the majority of corporations in the country. And they are again trying to do it without time for the legislature to adequately assess and deliberate changes.
I am incredibly perturbed by the fact that we were promised adequate time to deliberate on substantive bills coming from the CLC earlier in session & yet here we are again. SB313 will likely be fast tracked through the Senate when we get back on June 12. š§µ 1/

Thereās a bill in the House (HB 159) that would stop this and ban corporations and other entities from voting in municipal elections. It hasnāt been heard in committee yet, while this Republican-led bill has repeatedly made it on to the House agenda.
